Thrifty car rental — New Braunfels, TX

What affects the price

Several things shift the final rate for your rental. Demand is the biggest factor; booking during busy travel periods or holidays usually hikes up costs. The type of vehicle matters too, as choosing a fuel-efficient compact is significantly cheaper than reserving a large SUV or luxury model. Where you pick up the car also plays a role, as airport locations often carry higher surcharges than neighborhood branches. Adding extras like GPS units, child seats, or additional drivers will bump the total up as well. Generally, you might typically see daily rates start in the 40 to 80 dollar range.
